Parents Like Mine, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created by Tanya Doyle that is in service of providing personal care items to elder senior citizens. Doyle developed Parents Like Mine, Inc. out of a desire to aid her community. Witnessing the lack of access to personal care items as she formerly worked with mature patients, sparked her interest in fulfilling this need.
Doyle saw close and personal, how providing appropriate personal care items to her patients would not only aid in their health and behavior but also their self-esteem. In addition to Doyle’s background in working with elderly patients her passion for caring for others began at home. Becoming her parent's caretaker fully sparked her drive to help mature citizens in her city. She understood personally what effort and compassion could do to a person’s spirit, which inspired the name Parents Like Mine, Inc.
Parents Like Mine, Inc. prioritizes uplifting senior citizens by providing personal care items and in doing so delivering a message of love and empathy to the mature community, while in honor of Doyle’s parents. Furthermore, the organization’s goals include providing the necessary products to remove any possible neglect in such vulnerable places of mature patient care and to help and maintain the dignity, esteem, and hearts of mature patients.
